When Coppa Club, a collection of all-day café-restaurants, members’ club-style spaces with rooms, and work-friendly hangouts, needed interim marketing leadership, Wise Bird Marketing stepped in to provide strategic direction and hands-on digital expertise.

The Challenge
  • Coppa Club needed senior marketing leadership with strong hospitality and digital expertise to bridge the gap before a new Head of Marketing joined.

  • Wise Bird's co-founder Sascha, came on board as Interim Marketing Director to provide both strategic direction and day-to-day management.

  • Her role was to maintain momentum, strengthen brand & digital presence, and ensure a smooth handover that set the incoming Marketing Director up for success.

Our Strategy

We focused on building consistency and connection while keeping each venue’s individuality alive:

  • Social media strategy: Developed a clear social approach that balanced brand consistency with local storytelling, including the successful launch of a flagship venue’s channels.

  • Content & scheduling: Created and implemented a monthly content schedule to boost engagement and drive traffic to the website.

  • Paid social advertising: Managed campaigns to grow brand awareness and increase bookings for local events.

  • Email marketing: Regionalised comms to deliver relevant messaging and promote venue-specific activity.

  • Digital tracking: Partnered with developers to enable end-to-end tracking of room bookings via third-party platforms.

  • Team support: Provided leadership and day-to-day guidance for the Coppa Club marketing team, alongside Wise Bird account managers.

The Results
  • Engagement on social media grew significantly, particularly through community-focused content.

  • Followers increased steadily across Facebook and Instagram.

  • Paid and organic campaigns drove awareness and measurable uplift in local event bookings.

  • End-to-end tracking for room bookings was successfully implemented, improving visibility of the customer journey.

  • Most importantly, the transition to the incoming Marketing Director was smooth, supported by a detailed handover and a period of continued collaboration.
